| B*A*S*H DJ ENTERTAINMENT was started about 1975 in the Waterford area. Paul Boraski just got a new stereo from Waterford Hardware and Appliance. (Thanks Gary!). Aside from having friends over to enjoy his growing album and cassette collection, Paul was also asked to bring his new stereo to various parties. Naturally Paul wanted to protect his music and equipment so he found himself having to stay by the stereo and play music all night. He discovered he had a knack for picking out the right music to help everyone have a great time. People started to realize this and he was asked to play at more events. One memorable party was a pig-roast at Harvey's Meat Market. Paul got his first paying gig doing a buck & doe at the old Wiggin's Hall south of Renton. (Thanks Art !) Paul moved to Alberta in 1980 and that is where B*A*S*H really started to take off. The first weddings were done and Paul's reputation as a great party DJ was formed. In 1985 B*A*S*H came home to Ontario and firmly established itself in the Simcoe-Tillsonburg-Brantford area. Over the years B*A*S*H has expanded and done gigs all over Southern Ontario from Chatham to Whitby and Owen Sound to Lake Erie (literally on a boat). Paul has always impressed upon his DJs about the high standard of quality entertainment that B*A*S*H is known for. We look forward to continuing that excellence !! |
